Release: XENA (version 1.2.5.0)
Release Date: October 31, 2011
============================

ENHANCEMENTS

  1. After import, XENA now displays the projects and the project's data dates in the XER file.
  2. After import, XENA now displays the date of the XER file in the format yyyy-mm-dd.
  3. Calendars. Users can now change the scope of a calendar as well as base calendar and project (for project-based calendars).
  4. Activity Codes. Originally, duplicate activity code names were not added to the grid even if the Activity Code had different project or scope. Now, activity with duplicate names will be added to the grid.
  5. UDF's. Originally, duplicate UDF's were not added to the grid even if the table names were different. Now, duplicate UDF's are added to the grid.
  6. Remove Options. Originally, durations were removed as part of "Remove Units". Now there is a new remove option called "Remove Durations" which remove durations. The "Remove Units" option no longer removes durations.
  7. P6 Versions. Now, R8.0 and R8.1 can be selected for the revised XER file.
  8. Resources. Now, you can change the calendar on a resource.

BUG FIXES

  1. v1.2.3.0 - Activity Code Scope
If a template was setup to change a particular Activity Code name without changing the scope (meaning the original XER had the activity code as an AS_Global and the revised scope was also AS_Global) BUT in another original XER, the scope of the Activity Code is AS_Project - XENA XER would not change the it to AS_Gloabal. This has been fixed.
  2. v1.2.4.4 - Registration
At the end of the yearly maintenance period, XENA XER would not allow the user to log in. Now, at the end of the yearly maintenance period, the user can log in but they cannot upgrade to the next XENA XER release until they have an active yearly maintenance agreement. Only XENA XER installations with a active yearly maintenance agreement can upgrade to the next release of XENA XER. However users can continue to use their current copy of XENA XER without a yearly maintenance agreement. The first year maintenance agreement is provided with the initial XENA XER purchase. After the first, a yearly maintenance agreement can be purchased from XENA Utilities.

Release: XENA (version 1.2.1.4)
Release Date: December 15, 2010
============================

ENHANCEMENTS

  1. The user can enter a list of authorized codes for Activity Codes, Project Codes, Resource Codes, Resources, UDF Types, and Notebooks.

  3. Copy Template - A new button was added to the Template List screen. Copy Template makes a duplicate of a template.
  4. More security. Only a XENA Admin can configure the database, enter authorized codes, and load messages.
  5. Resources - a new button was added to the Resources tab that will flag all resources for delete.
  6. Remove Options. The user can select from a list of remove options. When one or more of the remove options are checked, XENA XER will remove the associated information. Remove Options include:
    1. Remove Activity Progress
    2. Remove Activity Steps
    3. Remove Activity Relationships
    4. Remove Activity Units (select either Actual, Planned, Remaining, or all

    8. Remove Timesheets
      i. Remove Roles
    9. Remove Budgets
  7. On Import, XENA XER will identify NEW and MISSING items since the last import. There is a new column called "Last Import Status" to indicate if the item is NEW or MISSING.

BUG FIXES

  1. After deleting a resource, the revised XER file could not be loaded into Primavera because XENA was not deleting references in the TASKRSRC table. This is fixed.
  2. After deleting a Notebook, the revised XER file could not be loaded into Primavera because XENA was not deleting references in the TASKMEMO and WBSMEMO tables. This is fixed.
  3. SQL Server 2008 - XENA could not create the database when SQL Server 2008 used. This is fixed.
  4. Problem handling European date format (dd/mm/yyyy) in some cases. This is fixed.
  5. v1.2.0.4 - added additional logic when removing units and costs
  6. v1.2.0.4 - When pasting authorized codes (Activity Codes, Notebooks, etc.), if the list was TOO long, the OK button was not displayed and the user was forced to terminate XENA XER using the Task Manager. XENA XER now uses a list box (with scrollbars) to display all codes being pasted. This is fixed.
  7. v1.2.1.0 - On remove, some Primavera fields were not being reset - for example roles.
  8. v1.2.1.1 - on some remove options (Expenses for example), only 1 of the options would actually remove or clear a value.
